about the teacher
Welcome! This is my sixth year teaching at Saint Agnes. I spent my first three years teaching third grade, and then made the exciting leap to sixth grade.
In May 2013, I graduated from Boston College with a Master's Degree in Special Education. I also attended Boston College as an undergraduate, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 2011. I loved attending BC and still enjoy going back to watch football games with my friends. Go Eagles!!
I grew up in a coastal town on Long Island, NY and attended a Catholic grammar school very similar to St. Agnes. My parents still live on Long Island, and my siblings and I visit whenever we can. I have a twin sister who works as a bio-statistician in New York City and a younger brother who recently graduated from Northeastern University.
I love swimming, reading, traveling and exploring new places. I also enjoy acting and doing improv comedy. During the school year, I help run the Saint Agnes Drama Club. I am a huge fan of the New York Mets, but I also like watching the Red Sox and cheering on other local teams. My sister and I love taking trips to Disney World - it is one of my favorite places on Earth. I spent a semester abroad in England while I was in college, and I love all things British.
I am so happy to be back at St. Agnes for the 2018-19 school year. I know that it will be a great year with the terrific students of 6A and 6B!
